This program is desinged to assist Native Americans victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Victims alone cannot stop the cycle of abuse but together as a Tribe, and a community, we can.

Yurok Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Project

Advocates assist clients with navigating the legal, civil and criminal court process, including obtaining and enforcing protective orders. The Crisis Worker works to make services more accessible to Native American women, provides a cultural perspective within the system in an effort to enhance existing services.

Violence/Sexual Assault program do to HELP?

  • Provide emergency clothing/ supplies

  • Transportation to a safe place

  • Provide relocation assistance

  • And restraining order assistance
