Realty Functions
Although the Yurok Tribe has not compacted their Realty functions with the Bureau of Indian Affairs under the Department of Interior, we offer to assist with completing forms to be submitted to the BIA and general mapping of Yurok reservation lands.
The BIA is still responsible for the Yurok Tribe’s Realty Functions on Tribal Trust Land to include:
1. Maintenance of land Records;
2. Real Estate Appraisals for evaluating and estimating market, rental, leasing or other value of real and other property owned by the Tribe;
3. Boundary surveys of land delineation for rights-of-ways, lease permits and economic development;
4. Maintains evaluations, assessments, studies, statements for Environmental Quality and Archeological Resource Services for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historical Preservation Act (NHPA), Clear Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RERA). The Realty Office can assist tribal members with preparation and submission of land assignment application.
